In the latest Express Entry draw through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), IRCC issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). To be eligible for the draw candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 516 and had to have created their Express Entry profile before 5:33 p.m. UTC on May 26, 2026.
The Canadian Experience Class is designed for skilled workers who have gained eligible work experience in Canada and wish to become permanent residents. So far in this year 40 Express Entry draws have been held. The Canadian Experience Class has received the highest number of invitations among all Express Entry categories in 2026, with 45,250 ITAs issued and this is the 12th CEC draw of the year.
Candidates with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations have been prioritized in the Express Entry draws this year. CEC is a popular immigration pathway and eligible candidates are recommended to maintain an active Express Entry profile for the draws in future.
