445 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued in another significant provincial immigration draw held on 28th July. Candidates have been invited through the province’s economic immigration pathways, with 400 invitations issued through Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 45 through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Candidates who want to enter the selection pool have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the province's online Immigration Accelerator system. Provincial authorities then review candidate profiles and invite those who best meet current economic and labour market priorities.
Through targeted immigration, the province continues to attract skilled professionals who help fill labour shortages across the key industries. Candidates are often selected by considering qualifications, work experience, and skills that align with Newfoundland and Labrador's workforce needs. Many streams also require applicants to have a job offer from an eligible employer within the province.
Newfoundland and Labrador continues to strengthen its workforce, support local employers, and encourage long-term population growth through immigration.
