Canada has released an updated breakdown of candidates in the Express Entry pool. The updated data demonstrate the changes in CRS scores between 16th of August and 30th of August 2026. The pool has decreased by 186 profiles from 226,859 to 226,673. The largest decline was recorded in the 351–400 CRS range where it fell by 1,776 candidates. Meanwhile, candidates scoring 501–600 increased by 885, reaching 19,542.
During this period, IRCC issued 6,442 invitations to apply (ITAs) through three draws: Provincial Nominee Program, Canadian Experience Class and French-language proficiency. Two further draws on August 31 and September 1 issued 2,562 ITAs combined. With these included, IRCC had issued 117,427 Express Entry ITAs in 2026 as of September 1.
