Canada has conducted another Express Entry draw targeting skilled workers with Canadian experience. The draw issued 2,000 invitations to apply for permanent residence. The September 29 draw was open to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), with the minimum CRS score set at 518.
Candidates who achieved the required score were also subject to a tie-breaking rule. They should have created their Express Entry profiles before 8:48 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on February 13, 2026.
The latest round continued a downward movement in the CRS threshold during September. Earlier CEC draws recorded cutoffs of 521 on September 1 and 519 on September 15. With this latest round, Canada has issued thousands of CEC invitations during 2026, providing another pathway to permanent residence for eligible temporary residents and skilled workers already gaining professional experience in the country.
