Quebec Invites Over 2,500 Skilled Worker Candidates for Permanent Selection

Quebec has issued 2,549 invitations to candidates under its Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ). Held on June 4th, 2026, the draw targeted candidates across all four PSTQ streams. This draw is the fifth draw of the province of Quebec in 2026.

In the draw, the most number of invitations, 1,094 invitations were issued under Stream 1, which focused on highly qualified and specialized workers in occupations classified under TEER 0, 1, and 2, living in Quebec and with relevant work experience. In Stream 2, 756 invitations were issued to workers with intermediate and manual skills falling under TEER 3, 4, or 5 occupations, currently living in Quebec and with relevant work experience. In Stream 3, 677 invitations were issued to candidates in regulated professions, and in Stream 4, 22 invitations were issued to candidates categorized as exceptional talent with relevant work experience.

Candidates were selected through Quebec’s Arrima expression-of-interest system, where they are ranked based on factors such as occupation, education, work experience, French-language proficiency, and labour market needs.

Through the draws, Quebec continues to hold targeted selections to address the workforce demands and the economic growth of the province.
