Canada has invited 733 provincial nominees to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system. The invitation round was conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on September 28, 2026.
Candidates in this draw needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 725 and must have created their Express Entry profile before 1:36 a.m UTC on September 17, 2026.
Provincial nominees receive additional CRS points through their provincial nomination, strengthening their Express Entry profiles. Those who received an invitation now have 60 days to submit their permanent residence application.
Applicants already in Canada may also be eligible for a Bridging Open Work Permit, subject to eligibility requirements. It will allow them to continue working in Canada during the time when their PR application is processed.
