Newfoundland and Labrador has conducted another round of selections under its provincial immigration programs, inviting 62 candidates to continue their pathway toward Canadian permanent residence.
The province’s Office of Immigration issued the invitations on September 18. Of the total, 61 went to candidates under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program, while one invitation was issued through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
Those selected have 60 days to submit the required application for provincial nomination or AIP endorsement. Successful candidates can then move forward with a federal permanent residence application.
So far in 2026, Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 2,654 invitations through the two programs. The province does not publicly identify the occupations or sectors represented in individual draws.
