Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted yet another Express Entry draw. The 1st September draw issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates for permanent residence through Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 521 to receive an invitation. IRCC also applied a tie-breaking rule requiring candidates to create an Express Entry profile before 3:24 a.m., UTC on August 18, 2026.
So far, CEC draws have issued 51,250 invitations this year. Across all Express Entry categories, IRCC has conducted 51 draws this year, issuing more than 117,000 ITAs.
The latest selection reinforces Canada’s strategy of prioritizing skilled candidates who already have Canadian work experience and are positioned to contribute to the country’s workforce and economy.
