Newfoundland and Labrador has invited 41 foreign workers to move forward in the province’s immigration process. The invitations were issued on September 25 through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP).
No candidates were selected through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) in this latest round. It was the province’s 16th immigration selection round of 2026. So far this year, Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 2,695 invitations, including 2,300 through the NLPNP and 395 through the AIP.
The province has not disclosed the specific occupations or immigration streams represented in the latest selection. Successful provincial nominees can proceed with an application for permanent residence to the federal government, providing skilled workers with another opportunity to establish their future in Canada.
