Under the Permanent Selection Program for Skilled Workers (PSTQ), Quebec has issued 523 invitations to apply for permanent selection. The July 30, 2026 selection round invited candidates across all four PSTQ streams. The profiles were selected from Quebec’s Arrima immigration system.
Stream 2, which targets workers in intermediate and manual occupations classified under TEER 3, 4 and 5, received the largest number of invitations. A total of 296 candidates were invited, with required scores ranging from 621 to 702. Quebec also invited 105 candidates through Stream 1, which is for highly qualified and specialized workers. Eligible fields included healthcare, childcare, science, hospitality, cybersecurity and skilled trades.
Another 110 invitations were issued under Stream 3, which focuses on candidates working in regulated professions. The occupations covered included doctors, nurses, pharmacists, teachers and engineers.
The remaining 12 invitations went to candidates under Stream 4, which is intended for individuals with exceptional skills and significant professional experience.
This latest selection marks Quebec’s seventh PSTQ invitation round of 2026, demonstrating the province’s continued efforts to attract skilled workers to meet labour-market needs.
