Latest Manitoba Immigration Draw Targets Skilled Workers

On June 18, 2026 the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted a new immigration draw under its Skilled Worker Stream. In the draw, 124 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to eligible candidates. The invitations were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways as part of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Candidates indicated that they were either directly invited through Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative or held Manitoba-supported work permits. In Manitoba’s 12th Skilled Worker Stream draw of the year, the most invitations went to Employer Services initiative candidates.

The LAAs issued under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative are as follows: Employer Services (49), Temporary Public Policy for Work Permits (32), Regional Communities (19), Francophone Community (15), and Ethnocultural Communities (9). Of the 124 invitations issued, 22 went to candidates with valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes.

The eligibility for the draw required candidates to declare in their Expression of Interest profiles that they were invited through a recruitment mission or the now-expired Temporary Public Policy supporting prospective nominees. Some candidates were excluded because of invalid or missing language test details or failure to provide a valid recruitment invitation number. As of June 18, 2026 Manitoba has sent 1,833 LAAs.
