Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 131 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) on 9th October 2026. Of the total invitations, 130 were issued under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), while one invitation was issued through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
The latest draw was the province’s first selection round in October and its largest since August 26, when 140 invitations were issued. It also marked an increase from the 41 invitations issued in the September 25 draw. Newfoundland and Labrador introduced an Expression of Interest (EOI) system in February 2025 for both immigration pathways.
Candidates must submit an EOI profile, after which provincial authorities select candidates based on their priorities and immigration needs. Only candidates who receive an invitation can proceed with a full application. With the October 9 draw, the province has issued 2,826 invitations in 2026, including 2,430 through the NLPNP and 396 through the AIP.
