British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) invited 16 entrepreneurs to apply for provincial nomination in its latest selection round held on August 25, 2026. Of the total, 11 invitations were issued through the Entrepreneur Immigration Base Stream, while another five went to candidates under the Regional Stream. Candidates in both categories needed a minimum score of 116 to receive an invitation.
The latest selection was the ninth entrepreneur draw conducted by British Columbia this year. It is also the province’s largest Regional Stream draw so far in 2026.
BCPNP’s entrepreneur streams are designed to attract entrepreneurs who can invest in and operate businesses in the province. The Regional Stream specifically encourages business development in communities outside Metro Vancouver.
Those who meet the requirements and successfully establish their businesses may eventually qualify for provincial nomination and move toward Canadian permanent residence.
