Express Entry: Canada Issues Invitations to Provincial Nominees

In the second Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw of the month (held on May 25, 2026) under the Express Entry system, 334 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued. The draw, which focused on candidates meeting the provincial labour market needs, invited candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 805. Also, to qualify the candidates should have created their Express Entry profiles before October 16, 2025.

This is the 28th draw under the Express Entry system in 2026. More than 72,000 ITAs have been sent out to candidates in 2026 through different Express Entry draws such as Canadian Experience Class, French-language proficiency, healthcare occupations, trades, and PNP streams. Of these, Provincial Nominee Program draws have sent 4,450 invitations.

The provinces and territories nominate skilled workers based on regional workforce demands under the Provincial Nominee Program. Those who are nominated by the provinces get an extra 600 CRS points. This thereby increases their chance of getting Express Entry selection.

As the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) targets those who align with provincial economic priorities and occupation-specific requirements, the program present a major opportunity for skilled workers to get invited for PR.
