In the Express Entry draw conducted on 20 July 2026, 511 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence were issued. Candidates who had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 744 and had created their Express Entry profile before 6:11 p.m. UTC on May 26, 2026, were considered for the draw.
Candidates who are nominated through a provincial program get additional 600 CRS points. Hence, PNP-specific draws typically have significantly higher CRS cut-offs than category-based or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws.
Provincial Nominee Programs allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate skilled workers who meet regional labour market needs. This will help support economic growth across the country. Canada has conducted 14 PNP draws and issued 6,450 invitations to PNP candidates this year.
Candidates who have not been selected are encouraged to keep their Express Entry profiles updated and also monitor future provincial nomination opportunities.
