Manitoba Invites 340 Candidates in Latest Provincial Immigration Draw

Manitoba has issued 340 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in Expression of Interest Draw number 281, held on 8th October. The draw was held under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The latest selection focused on workers employed in targeted occupations and candidates invited through strategic recruitment initiatives. Education and childcare professionals received the largest share, with 211 invitations issued to secondary school teachers, elementary school teachers, early childhood educators and teacher assistants currently employed in Manitoba. Another 46 invitations went to candidates working in health occupations.

The remaining 83 invitations were issued under the Skilled Worker Stream to candidates selected through strategic recruitment initiatives. These included Employer Services, the Francophone Community, Regional Communities, Ethnocultural Communities and a temporary public policy supporting work permits for prospective provincial nominees. Of the 340 candidates invited, 103 had declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Manitoba did not publish minimum ranking scores for this draw, as selections were based on targeted occupations and recruitment criteria rather than a general ranking threshold. Candidates who wish to be considered in future draws should ensure their Expression of Interest profiles contain accurate information, valid language test details and any required professional licensing documentation.
