British Columbia has sent 33 invitations to workers seeking permanent residence through the Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative (TRHSI) pathway.
The 17th September 2026 draw required candidates to score at least 60 points. This threshold is higher than the previous round, which invited 60 workers with a minimum score of 50. The pathway is designed for eligible cleaners and security workers employed full-time by public health authorities in qualifying rural and remote communities across British Columbia.
Applicants generally need at least nine months of continuous full-time work with the same employer in the eligible region. So far, the province has issued 93 invitations under the initiative. Registration is scheduled to remain open until October 7, 2026, while British Columbia aims to nominate up to 250 eligible workers through the program.
