Manitoba has invited 417 workers in science, technology, engineering and related occupations to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued a total of 474 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) on September 24, 2026. The largest group—417 candidates—was selected from natural and applied sciences and related occupations, including engineering, architecture, mathematics and computing. The minimum ranking score for this group was 760.
The draw also included 40 candidates selected through strategic recruitment initiatives, 16 French-speaking candidates, and one family physician.
Candidates who received an LAA must submit a complete application for provincial nomination within 60 days. Successful nominees may subsequently pursue Canadian permanent residence and could also qualify for work-permit options while their applications are processed.
With this latest selection, Manitoba has issued 6,883 LAAs across 19 immigration rounds in 2026.
