Prince Edward Island has invited 195 immigration candidates to move forward with applications for provincial nomination as the province continues to address labour shortages in key industries.
The latest invitations, issued on September 17, were distributed through the Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry streams. Candidates working in priority areas such as healthcare, skilled trades and manufacturing were among those targeted.
The province also placed particular emphasis on international graduates from local institutions, including the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College and Collège de l’Île.
The latest round brings PEI’s total number of invitations under the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams to 1,229 in 2026. Those who received an invitation have 30 days to submit their complete nomination applications.
Further PEI draws are scheduled for October, November and December.
