Ontario has issued 1,825 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under its Employer: Job Offer streams. Ontario held six draws on February 2, 2026, and this is the first selection for Ontario 2026 Immigration.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) selection has given priority to physicians, early childhood educators and assistants, Regional Economic Development candidates through Immigration (REDI), and healthcare workers. The selection reflects Ontario’s continued effort to meet the critical labour demands and regional economic needs. This targeted round of Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) invitations took into account the profiles that were created between 2nd July 2025 and 28th January 2026.
Out of the total invitations issued in the separate draws under the Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream, 129 ITAs have been issued for physicians with a minimum score requirement of 33. 14 ITAs were issued to candidates of Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) with a minimum score requirement of 44, and 634 ITAs with a minimum score requirement of 36 were issued for health occupations and early childhood educators and assistants.
Under the Employer Job Offer International Student stream, 26 invitations were given to candidates in an REDI-focused draw, and it had the highest minimum cut-off scores (69) among all six draws. The highest number of invitations, 1,015, were given to health occupations and early educators and assistants under the Employer Job Offer International Student stream, and it had a minimum score requirement of 56.
Under the Employer Job Offer In-Demand Skills stream, 7 invitations were given to Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) candidates, and the minimum score requirement was 34.
Understanding REDI pilot: The Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot is an initiative targeted at attracting skilled workers to rural, smaller, and northern regions such as Lanark County, Leeds and Grenville, Sarnia-Lambton, and Thunder Bay to support the employers of the region. REDI operates under Ontario’s existing Employer Job Offer streams, and candidates are selected through the targeted draws.
Invited candidates have 60 days to submit a complete nomination application to OINP. Thereafter, upon receiving provincial nomination, they can apply to the federal government for permanent residence.
