British Columbia has selected foreign entrepreneurs for its provincial immigration program, offering them an opportunity to develop businesses in the province.
The latest invitations were issued on September 22 through both the Base and Regional streams of the Entrepreneur Immigration category. Ten candidates received invitations through the Base Stream, while fewer than five were selected under the Regional Stream. Both groups needed a minimum score of 119.
The program is aimed at entrepreneurs who plan to establish a new business or purchase and expand an existing one. Regional applicants must set up their businesses outside the Metro Vancouver Regional District.
With this latest selection, British Columbia has issued at least 114 entrepreneur invitations in 2026. Candidates who receive provincial nomination can subsequently apply for Canadian permanent residence.
