Newfoundland and Labrador has conducted another immigration draw, selecting 36 candidates for Canadian permanent residence.
The invitations were issued on September 10 through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program. Those selected have 60 days to submit their applications for provincial nomination.
The latest draw brings the province’s total invitations in 2026 to 2,592, including 2,198 through the Provincial Nominee Program and 394 through the Atlantic Immigration Program. No Atlantic Immigration Program invitations were issued in this latest round.
Candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest profile. The province considers factors such as education, work experience, language ability and settlement plans. Priority may be given to healthcare workers, French-speaking applicants, graduates and candidates working outside major population centres.
