On 4th September 2026 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) selected 3,500 candidates through a category-based Express Entry draw. The minimum CRS score required was 475. The candidates must have also created an Express Entry candidate profile before 12:26 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on May 26, 2026.
The invited candidates can now proceed with their permanent residence applications within the prescribed timeframe. The latest selection reflects Canada’s continued use of targeted Express Entry draws to respond to labour-market requirements in priority fields. Healthcare and social services professionals remain among the groups receiving focused invitations in 2026, providing qualified workers with another opportunity to transition to permanent residence in Canada.
