British Columbia has sent 279 invitations to high economic impact candidates under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). The 18 June 2026 draw issued Invitations to Apply to candidates with high potential across diverse sectors who will contribute to the province's economy through their skills, work experience, and employment prospects.
This is the 13th draw of 2026 held by the province and the seventh draw conducted under the skills immigration stream. Invitations were sent to candidates who met one of two selection criteria: either a TEER 0–3 job offer with an eligible wage threshold or a profile registration score under the provincial points system.
The draw was conducted under British Columbia’s “Innovate” initiative, and a significant number of invitations, more than half, were issued based on candidates’ registration scores, with a minimum required score of 136 points. Remaining invitations were directed at candidates holding a TEER 0–3 job offer with a minimum wage of CAD $62 per hour, which is approximately CAD $125,000 annually. The province did not release details on specific occupations targeted.
With over 2,700 invitations sent through skills immigration pathways, along with other draws aimed at entrepreneurs and business investors, British Columbia continues to actively attract global talent.
