How long should I wait for an ITA

Being one of the Immigration friendly countries, Canada offers an array of flexible programs, for the immigrants. The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) selects candidates with higher CRS points, and issue an ITA. The waiting time to get and ITA purely depends on your CRS points.

CRS score remain unchanged in 2018

As we discussed, the Comprehensive ranking System (CRS) is always calculated by an applicant’s age, educational qualification, work experience, language skills and more. In 2018, also the minimum CRS score hasn’t come down, and the applicants required a minimum of 441 points to receive an ITA, which further concerns the Express entry candidates with a low score.

However, a low score doesn’t mean an end to one’s immigration dreams as there are certain ways are available to enhance the CRS score.

Substitute for obtaining Canadian PR

So, are you worried about your chances of getting an ITA? Worry not. Many ways are there to enhance your comprehensive ranking system score and improve your chances to obtain the Permanent residence in Canada.

If your CRS score is not up to the mark, as a primary step, you should increase it by improving the demographic factors like language skills and education. This will increase your chances of receiving an Invitation to apply (ITA) for the permanent residence in Canada.

For instance, after the submission of an Express entry profile, you will get sufficient time to retake the language test and score more marks or learn the other official language to get extra points. Besides, IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) will allocate points for your partner’s credentials which subsequently improves your rank in the Express Entry pool.

Provincial Nominee Programs

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) is considered as one of the ideal options to immigrate to Canada. These programs invite highly skilled foreign workers to work and settle in a particular province permanently. PNP’s are streamlined with the Express Entry System; however, the candidate needs to comply with different eligibility requirements as demanded by different provinces. Those who are nominated by a Provincial Nominee Program earn an additional 600 points in the CRS system. The provincial nomination itself makes you eligible to get an ITA.,
